• The Shore 00 Hardness Scale is the softest. It measures rubbers and gels that are very soft.

• The Shore A Hardness Scale is measured based on ASTM D-2240 standards, ranges from extra soft to hard, measures flexible rubbers.

• The Shore D Hardness Scale starts in the medium hard range and goes up to extra hard materials, measured based on ASTM D-2240 standards as well, typically for measuring hard rubbers, semi-rigid plastics and hard plastics.
